Lohri is a festival where the people of Punjab, begin their year with a tribute to the farmers for their hard work and labour. The festival which offers a panorama of our culture was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm in Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar. Amidst the warmth of the bonfire the feeling of trance was brought on by melodious vocals and vivacious dance. All students were dispersed to their respective classes with a generous handful of prasad which they enjoyed gorging on under the cold weather conditions.
