CPD Training

Each teacher is expected to participate in 50 hours of CPD opportunities every year for their professional development, driven by their needs and choices. – NEP 2020

The Salwan Education Trust has been involved in organizing Training Programmes since 1997 for its stakeholders. Teachers are provided with professional support for updating their pedagogical skills to render optimum benefit to the students. These programmes help in imparting core values to meet the following objectives:-

Empowerment of Human Resource

Training sessions are held around the year and multiple opportunities are provided to the faculty and the students to participate in conferences, summits, and exchange programmes. Experts from various fields are invited and innovative pedagogies are shared to enhance the teaching-learning process.

Session 2021-22

Set Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programme - Inspire By Heartfulness

INSPIRE is a 6-day experiential workshop for teachers, which enables teachers to create joyful activity-based learning in classrooms. The main objectives of the workshop are:

To learn the four basic Heartfulness practices of:
- Relaxation
- Meditation
- Mental Cleaning
- Inner Connect
To become adept at conducting guided relaxation for all students, and be able to give them instructions for meditation.
To be introduced to heart-centred pedagogy, understand the various methodologies, and go through initial practical training to apply the same in their classrooms.

Session 2020-21

During the COVID-19 outbreak, Training sessions were held to help the teachers learn and create new teaching strategies which helped in bringing back the interest of their students in the online classrooms and encourage learning. The webinars were organised for students, teachers and parents. This helped students broaden their skills, as well as their understanding of their field of interest. This also allowed students to attain new knowledge and skills that can supplement or complement their main field of study. Webinars were interactive wherein parents got the opportunity to interact with the resource person. These helped all the stakeholders make it a win-win situation and combat the challenges faced due to COVID.
