Children’s Day Celebration

Children’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the joy and innocence of childhood. In light of poor air quality leading to the classes shifting to the online mode, the school, under the initiative of Gandhi House, organized a virtual celebration to ensure the well-being of the children.

An interactive session was held wherein the class teachers wished the students and encouraged them to share how they planned to celebrate the day to make it a memorable one. An educational aspect was also incorporated with videos on the biography of Jawaharlal Nehru being played. This not only served as a tribute to the first Prime Minister of India, whose birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day, but also provided students with valuable insights into the history and significance of the day. The quiz based on Jawaharlal Nehru’s life, created on the Kahoot platform by the teachers, added an interactive and competitive element to the celebration.

The virtual celebration of Children’s Day was a great success, with enthusiastic participation from students, and teachers. Despite the challenges posed by the virtual format, the event successfully captured the spirit of joy and camaraderie that Children’s Day is known for.
