Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi, organized various competitions to observe “WORLD SPACE WEEK ‘on a virtual platform wherein students from classes IV to VIII, actively participated in the competition. WSW is an UN-declared celebration of space, held annually from 4th Oct. to 10th Oct. It is the largest space event on Earth and the mission is to strengthen the link between space and society through public education, participation, and dialogue on the future of space activity using WSW as a focus. Students of classes IV participated in Just-a-Minute (JAM) activity. They wore costumes of an astronaut & presented themselves as famous woman astronauts like Kalpana Chawla, Sunita Williams & Valentina Tereshkova. The students got a rare platform to tap their potential and enhance their verbal skills.
