Rashtriya Ekta Diwas – (National Unity Day)

Every year the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is being observed as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (National Unity Day) on 31st October. In keeping with the tradition, around 657 students including teachers at Salwan Public School, celebrated the National Unity Day. Various activities on the Online Virtual Platform were observed on the said occasion, which included the following:

1. A Pledge (Oath) taking ceremony for all school students was organised to mark the occasion. The text of the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge’ was read by respective class teachers.
2. Essay writing competition on the theme of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
3. Slogan Writing and Poster Making competition on the theme ‘Rashtriya Ekta’ was also organized on the Online Virtual Platform wherein the students participated with full enthusiasm.
