As per the guidelines issued by the DoE, GNCT of Delhi ‘Hariyali Mahotsav’ was celebrated in the school on 7 July 2023 to raise awareness among students regarding the importance of trees. A plantation drive was carried out inside the school premises, wherein students along with respected Chairman sir, planted saplings of bamboo. Bamboo plays a crucial role in the atmosphere. It absorbs greenhouse gases and release oxygen also keeps soil pollution in check.Students were also gifted saplings to be planted at their home or society park. They promised to nurture the plant and keep updating the eco club teachers about the growth of the sapling.It was an enriching activity for the students and they thoroughly enjoyed the plantation drive.
