An educational visit to nearby fire station was organised for Class I. This educational visit provided them with a first-hand understanding of fire safety measures and procedures. For the learners, seeing the equipment in use was an exciting and memorable experience that deepened their understanding of the firefighters’ role in community.
Their understanding of fire safety was enhanced by the display at the fire station, and they also had the chance to interact with the firemen, who provided valuable insights. Furthermore, the learners acquired knowledge about how the fire department’s equipments and sirens work.
They also learned an important value of encouraging their parents to make way for the fire brigade when it is on the road. The visit was enjoyable and also equipped the students with vital knowledge and skills that could potentially save lives in the future.
