As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada initiative, organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Grade III students participated in a quiz based on ‘Cleanliness and hygiene practices in schools.’ The multiple-choice quiz, comprising 12 questions, aimed to assess the students’ knowledge while raising awareness about the importance of personal and environmental hygiene.
The objective was to educate the young learners about the importance of maintaining cleanliness in their daily lives, both at a personal and community level. Students enthusiastically engaged in the quiz, demonstrating a good understanding of basic hygiene practices. In addition to the quiz, they created vibrant posters depicting the step-by-step instructions on proper handwashing techniques, emphasizing the role of hand hygiene in preventing the spread of germs and diseases. A few students even demonstrated the correct handwashing practices using soap and water. Their active participation highlighted their eagerness to maintain a healthy and clean environment.
