A quality anti-bullying school assembly is necessary in schools because the effects of bullying can be devastating…not just for the bullied, but even bystanders as well. Keeping the said point into consideration an assembly on the theme – Bullying was conducted on 29 April 2022 for the students of primary classes. The day started with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra followed by prayer to the almighty. The students of class – V C presented a short skit based on the theme and gave a clear understanding of what constitutes bullying behavior, how to prevent it on their part, what they can do if they see bullying behavior or encounter it directly themselves. The students also presented a short poem and depicted the theme through posters. The effort put in by the students was appreciated by all.
