The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) has been constituted under Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005. The Act casts an obligation on the Commission to promote the cause of child rights.

The Commission had decided to set up the “Children First: Journal on Children’s Lives”. To add the perspective of children in making of the journal, The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) had invited paintings from children across the country on the theme, “Impact of COVID-19 pandemic on lives of children”.
